- 3M Scotchgard Pro Series

PPF 8 Mil – Our House Brand Paint Protection Series.
We have been in the Paint Protection industry for over 35 years and have developed our own paint protection series to help protect against rock chips, and debris, we have a patented technology with a whopping 10-year warranty on material, and our product is tested and has been on our customer’s vehicles for over 12 years.
3M Scotchgard G200 Series – 8 Mil Hydrophobic
The next generation in paint protection film from 3M is here.
The new 3M Scotchgard Pro Series 200 Series provides an updated film from 3M which includes a more hydrophobic top coat, less aggressive adhesive, and a better finish overall.
It does not have 3M logos printed on the plastic liner.
3M Scotchgard Pro Series – 8 Mil
This is 3M’s latest and premiere product (and the only one being updated). It was launched in 2014. (edit: It has been updated four times as of 2022.) It leads the industry in clarity, the ability to self heal light scratches to the top layer, compliance, and ease of application. This is the only 3M material we both recommend using and currently offer.
It does not have 3M logos printed on the plastic liner.
3M Scotchgard
This was the industry benchmark for years. The last major update was in 2005. It was widely expected to be discontinued in 2014 when the Pro Series was launched. 3M has kept it around as a sort of B-grade material. It does perform well, though it is harder to apply, does not offer the clarity of the Pro Series, and does not have a self-healing layer.
It has pink 3M logos on the backing paper.
STEK Dynoshield – 8 Mil Hydrophobic
STEK is a premium choice of Paint Protection Film. First, to market with a hydrophobic top coat, they are leading the pack with innovation. The flexibility of STEK is on another level.
DYNOshield provides you with a premium top-coated Paint Protection Film (PPF). Our nano-ceramic top coat is bonded to the film at a molecular level providing extreme hydrophobic properties and virtually eliminating the need for waxes and after-market top coatings. DYNOshield also has strong self-healing properties allowing light surface scratches to “heal” back to a smooth and glossy finish. Our proprietary top coat combined with UV-resistant, anti-yellowing adhesives gives DYNOshield unique clarity and performance with extreme puncture resistance.
SUNTEK Ultra – 8 Mil
Ultra Fusion PPF Ultra Paint Protection Film has built up quite a reputation in the last few years. Eastman is the company that owns Ultra Fusion PPF and Llumar. Ultra Fusion PPF is known for its ability to flex and stretch over complex curves.
SUNTEK Reaction 8Mil Hydrophobic
Professionally sold and installed Reaction PPF is backed from the purchase date by our 12-year limited warranty against cracking, bubbling, or yellowing.
Ultra Fusion PPF Reaction is a completely reinvented product that merges the super hydrophobicity* of ceramic coating with premium, self-healing paint protection film. This advanced two-in-one construction keeps your finish looking like it rarely sees the road, thanks to impressive protective benefits.
Reaction stands up head-on to flying gravel, salt, grit and more. It also has self-healing properties plus a noticeably clear finish with intense gloss and no orange peel appearance. This trailblazing PPF utilizes Eastman Tetrashield™ protective resin system technology, trusted by OEMs for their own finishes.
Reaction is formidable defense against nature’s harshest elements too, with 25% more stain resistance than top brands. Acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, insects and dirt all wash effortlessly away from Reaction’s slick surface, leaving only envy-inducing shine behind.
*The durability and level of hydrophobic property can be influenced by environmental conditions and other variables beyond Manufacturer’s control (e.g., road treatment chemicals and cleaning substances/frequency).

This warranty does not apply to damage caused by misuse, accident, misapplication, or ordinary wear, nor does it apply to dents caused by physical impact of rocks or road debris.
Bulk Vs Precut
9Bulk Vs Precut There are two methods to apply PPF. One method is using precut templates that dont involve trimming. The other method is what in PPF industry we call Bulk installation, this process involves stretching large sheet of paint protection material over a panel, squeegeeing, trimming, tucking the edges. YouTube Has Explanation on how BULK works. Newer vehicles, mostly trucks, Chevy, Ford, Dodge, GMC have difficult hoods, for a novice who has never installed Paint protection film before will be a little challenging to stretch the front hood, due to many curves and valleys. We now offering Bulk Sheet of materials as on option instead of precut. Please do research before purchasing, or contact us for more information.
Which panel to install first = Bumper, Hood, Lights, Mirrors?
People ask us, I have never installed PPF before, where should I start? Are certain vehicle panels easier than others? It all depends on the vehicle you are working on, You would have to look at the panel you are working on and see if you are comfortable starting on it, there isn’t a list of which panel is hardest or easiest, it all depends on the vehicle you are working on. Below is how we start in our shop when tackling a job. The headlights, hood, and fenders are a great starting point. < doesn’t have to be in the same order, just a general idea of where to start. The hardest panel usually is the bumper, we always recommend leaving the bumper installations last. If you have any questions or need advice on where to start please email us. We can recommend the best tips and solutions.
Ordering PPF kit while not having my vehicle yet delivered.
